The Grammar Of Fire : Published by Warner Bros in 2007, this excerpt from my book "The Grammar of Fire" chronicles my experiences amongst the Naxalite "terrorist" population in India and the Buddhist monks who make a pilgrimage to their land, which is considered to be the sacred center of Buddhist cosmology. It is an attempt to illuminate their intersecting paths as a crossroads in the human response to suffering.

The First Time I Heard... : THE FIRST TIME I HEARD is a series of music-related books that collect brief, conversational first-person accounts by musicians and writers about the first time they heard a specific iconic band, published by Scott Heim, author of Mysterous Skin.
